My career inception commenced by climbing through the ranks of urban and streetwear brands in the Gen-X era. After this, I expanded my career across categories with mid-tier and the “best of the best” companies. I’m lucky to have worked with companies across product types and distribution channels throughout my career, and across all stages of the supply chain: design, production, and sourcing trusted factories and vendors. While I’ve worn many hats, the key metrics to measure my success have been speed-to-market, competitive pricing, and the integrity of a good-quality product. During my time with Suuchi Inc., these metrics have been a constant variable that has translated into our company’s core values.
As I reflect on these metrics, the most relevant core value for me at Suuchi is: “Excellence through adaptability – be better every day.”
Every day I’m impressed by my colleagues’ dedication to this value as every new assignment is executed with a level of precision and excellence like no other. As a highly cross-functional and collaborative team, my hat is off to my teammates who handle challenges and roll up their sleeves to get the job done and take our company to the next level.
One of many examples of this dedication was our team’s quick response to ensure that our Global Sourcing Network (GSN) would aid in sourcing PPE. As the COVID-19 pandemic spread, our team accepted the challenge of showing grace under fire and securing millions of PPE units for agencies across the globe. While this is just one example of the Suuchi team’s dedication to excellence, it proves that this team is ready to take on any challenge of any scale.
I am proud to be a part of this prestigious team, and happy to lead the team in our next phase of growth as the Director of Global GRID Engagement & GRID Compliance. I’m excited to onboard more trusted partners onto the GRID to connect them with our customers and digitize their supply chains. Through engagement on the GRID, we’re excited to bring a new level of adaptability for businesses across industries with a digital solution.
